Looking forward to see this event. When you are a person of mass interest these social tools really works. 1600 questions are submitted so far. Check this link for more info or the opportunity to ask President Obama a question: http://www.youtube.com/whitehouse

Woha. That is one cool project. But still kinda happy that the photographs exist as originals too..

thenextweb:

CBM: What was the inspiration behind Mastergram?
AE: It started out as one of those “wouldn’t it be funny if…” kind of things. I wanted to poke fun at the technology and I was surprised when I saw that no one else had done it yet. I had never used Instagram before starting the site, although my wife used it a lot at home. Like some photographers, I had mixed feelings about the way the app was being used and the extent to which it was changing the look of photography. I wanted to make a bit of a statement about what the app was doing to images, for better or for worse. I went into this with some bias against Instagram, but the more I used it, the more I began to understand its appeal and see its potential as a creative tool. Once again brilliant stuff from Sir Ken Robinson.

Christmas came early this year. Today the long awaiting UP wristband by Jawbone came flying into the mailbox. The UP wristband is a tool to track how much you move, sleep and how you feel after eating. It even wakes you up when you sleep the lightest by vibrating the wristband, similar to the app Sleep Cycle. If you’ve been inactive for too long the wristband reminds you to move by vibrating.
The wristband is accompanied by an iPhone app that lets you watch your progress. You can team up with friends to watch their progress and take on challenges to push yourself.
From a marketing perspective I love the opportunity for brands to create challenges that motivate people to live healthier.
So far it’s been great fun and I look forward to get UP and get healthier.

Aimar: Cowbird, sagas from real life

aimar:

Jonathan Harris who claimed fame with his We Feel Fine project are back with a new and very exiting idea.

Cowbird are supposed to tell heartfelt stories about life. Humanity´s sagas. Not a small order to start with. It will be interesting to see if Mr Harris are able to gain interest…

Enough said!

I’m an avid amateur photographer. An if you’re like me you may be wondering who’s using your Flickr pictures around the web. Today I stumbled upon a (presumably old) feature from Google. It lets you add an URL to a photo and it lets you search the web for matches. I tested with one of my images and look what I found: http://bit.ly/rVLHfs
Happy searching!
