WatchWatch
Yet another Kickstarter success story. This watch lets you control your music, get notifications from your phone and change the watch face. And it’s e-ink which is quite cool. But the most amazing part is this. They pledged for 100.000 USD in funding for production. After only 14 days they’ve already received 6,5 million USD. That is the true power of social innovation and commerce.

Spotify launches Play Button
Here it is. Spotify’s latest development, a universal play button that give you instant access to a playlist, song or album on any website without launching the Spotify app. Here are my favourite tracks so far this year.

Traffic ain't business
aimar: Just published a short marketing lesson that can be inhaled in 60 seconds, and digested for as long as you like. Traffic ain’t business. Yes, I am shamelessly promoting my own marketing blog Taste As Real.

After a trip to Chamonix I had so much material (6,5 hours. Puh.) that I thought I’d make a little tribute to those of us who try skiing on the edge of our skills, and by that falling.

How people move.  Really nice vizualization made by Norwegian Even Westvang. Could have made a tiny Gapminder out of that data. I like the cross reference to age and income too. Via The Guardian.

Aimar: Cowbird, sagas from real life →
aimar: Jonathan Harris who claimed fame with his We Feel Fine project are back with a new and very exiting idea. Cowbird are supposed to tell heartfelt stories about life. Humanity´s sagas. Not a small order to start with. It will be interesting to see if Mr Harris are able to gain interest… Enough said!

Prague Panorama
Been a while since I did some gigapans. Decide to check out the stats for my gigapans over at gigapan.org. I really like this one. Double tap to zoom in and pane around to details you’d like to look closer into.

The power of not understanding →
Found this great post from the Groundswell blog over at Forrester Research. Its about how not understanding often helps people clearify and thus get their message better across to the audience.

Se på meg!
Why are we sharing photos on the social web? Where do we share and what drives us? Here is a presentation I held for the council for photo companies (Fotorådet / Elektronikkbransjen) this October. It is in Norwegian. View more presentations from Tord Sollie
